Dr. Grayburn holds the Paul J. Thomas Chair in Cardiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He has published more than 450 papers and is Associate Editor of the American Journal of Cardiology, JACC Cardiovascular Imaging and Structural Heart. Dr Grayburn also has served on multiple committees for the American Society of Echocardiography, including the Task Force for Quantitation of Valvular Regurgitation. His background in both interventional cardiology and echocardiography, including intraoperative TEE during surgical mitral valve repair, give him a unique insight into percutaneous mitral valve therapies. He is on the Publications Committee for the EVEREST II Trial, and the Steering Committee of the COAPT and APOLLO Trials.
