Dr. Chammas is a radiologist and expert in the use of CEUS to evaluate liver lesions and liver transplantation, kidney lesions and transplantation, breast lesions, and vascular evaluation. Dr. Chammas is also one of the pioneers of the use of CEUS in Brazil and Latin America in the radiology session. She is President of the World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB) and formerly served as president of FLAUS (Latin American Federation of Ultrasound). She has published numerous scientific publications, including more than 100 peer reviewed papers, several book chapters and 13 books. Dr. Chammas is also a frequent speaker at conferences throughout the world.
