CEUS Education and Training – Chicago 2019
Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (“CEUS”) is now an integral part of ultrasound imaging throughout the world, and indications are growing.
Learn basic and advanced CEUS skills and insights at educational programs sponsored by the International Contrast Ultrasound Society (ICUS). Physicians, sonographers, technicians, students and trainees will benefit from these well-received educational experiences.

Registration is $100, including materials and meals. A $50 rebate is available for students and trainees after showing appropriate ID at check-in. Full scholarships are available. Registration does not include transportation or lodging.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify specific clinical cases that would benefit from CEUS and potentially improve clinical outcomes.
- Perform a basic CEUS examination for specific applications.
- Interpret the enhancement changes which occur following microbubble contrast agent injection.
- Set up a CEUS laboratory with required supplies, protocols and ordering/compliance mechanisms in place, and with involvement of hospital administration.
- Interpret and apply relevant CEUS labeling.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Illinois State Medical Society and International Contrast Ultrasound Society (ICUS). The Illinois State Medical Society is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Illinois State Medical Society designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Discounted parking is available at the Traders Self Park Garage, located approximately one block south of the Willis Tower on Franklin St. between Jackson Blvd. and Van Buren. The reduced fee is $17 (all day). You may obtain a parking sticker at the ICUS registration desk upon presenting your parking ticket. (Note that discounted parking is not available at the Tower Self Park Garage immediately across from the Willis Tower.)
Venue – Willis Tower
The ICUS educational programs in Chicago will take place in the Dentons conference suite on the 59th Floor of the Willis Tower, 233 S. Wacker Drive. Since the building is under construction, please plan to use one of the entrances on Franklin St. or Adams St., as the Wacker Drive entrance will be closed. Taxis will be available at the Franklin St. entrance.

Visitor passes will be emailed to your smart phone before the event. If you do not receive a visitor pass via email, please check in at the Visitor’s Desk in the lobby of the Willis Tower. Then proceed through security to the 59th Floor, Dentons’ conference suite, where the program will be held. A valid photo ID or passport will be required for security clearance.
